Whether or not you have worked in inventory services before we will fully train you before you will be able to inspect any properties.   The right attitude and person-skills are most important.  Please be aware that the lettings market is highly seasonal with the greatest demand between June and September.

Senior Inventory Clerk / Office Administrator

Flexible role likely to expand significantly for the right person as the business develops into new and exciting areas.  The successful candidate would be expected to carry out Inventory Clerk responsibilities in the first instance as shown below along with general office administration including web-based market research.  In the longer term, this is likely to evolve into a full-time salaried position.

Inventory Clerks

Please be aware that our inventory clerks work on a contract basis and you would be responsible for your own tax and NI.  You would be paid a percentage commission for each inspection/report you undertook.  All clerks must successfully complete full training before being able to visit any properties.

The Role:

  • Comprehensively and accurately describe the contents and condition of rented properties
  • Check tenants in and out of properties and produce reports including recommendations of maintenance any potential charges against exiting tenants.

Skills and Experience

  • Microsoft Word and basic PC skills.
  • Dealing with people in a high quality service environment.

The Person

  • Organised and methodical with good eye for detail.
  • Customer and service-focused mature approach with the ability to communicate well.
